We offer free shipping on orders of $100 or more and a flat-rate shipping charge of $9.95 on orders less than $100.

Shipping artwork requires special packaging and attention. If you are ordering framed prints, canvas prints, or originals, we will add a surcharge to cover this extra packaging, delivery cost, and insurance, even if your order totals $100 or more.

As you can imagine, it is much more expensive to deliver a large, framed print than it is to deliver an unframed print on paper. We want your items to arrive in perfect condition, no matter their size. If your item requires a surcharge it will be noted on the product page as you make your selection, and in your shopping cart when you check out. Our surcharges are based on product weight and size, and reflect our actual costs to safely deliver your artwork.

If you’d like to pick up your order in Duluth or Grand Marais to save on shipping or surcharge fees, call 218-387-2491 and place your order by phone. We welcome all phone orders!

Questions? Call 218-387-2491. We’re here to help and open Sunday 10-4/Monday-Saturday from 10-5.

Clear Selection

Paper prints are printed on heavy, 100% cotton paper and are shipped to you flat—corner-mounted on foam core, and packaged inside a clear, cellophane sleeve. Prints larger than 17 x 22 inches are rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Their presentation is perfect for gift-giving and they are ready to frame. We custom print to your order; please allow two weeks plus shipping. If you need your print in a hurry, please let us know and we’ll try our best to expedite your order.

Framed prints are ready to hang on your wall. Our archival prints are framed using a white museum mat (approximately 3 inches wide), a 1-inch black wood frame, and UV-protected “Conservation Clear” glass. Add approximately 7-8 inches to image size width and height dimensions for finished frame allowance. Prints are carefully packaged to arrive safely. Learn more about framing and see examples on our Information page. We custom print and frame to your order. Please allow three weeks production plus shipping for framed prints. If you need your print in a hurry, please let us know and we’ll try our best to expedite your order.

Dye sublimation prints on metal use heat to transfer and infuse images directly onto aluminum, creating unsurpassed resolution, color vibrancy, and a durable, easy-to-clean print. Metal prints are ready to hang on your wall and do not need framing. Learn more on our Information page. We custom print and frame to your order. Please allow 4-6 weeks production plus shipping for dye sublimation metal prints. If you need your print in a hurry, please let us know and we’ll try our best to expedite your order.

Christian Dalbec

Christian Dalbec lives in Two Harbors, Minnesota. On a typical morning he wakes before sunrise and drives along still-dark Highway 61, eventually stopping at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. There, he enters cold Lake Superior wearing a helmet, wetsuit, snorkel, fins, mask…and begins photographing. Dalbec’s photos are made from an unusual vantage point—from within the lake itself, while swimming. It’s difficult and dangerous work, but ultimately his photographs capture the unusual perspective of a fish in water.
