Paper prints are printed on heavy, 100% cotton paper and are shipped to you flat—corner-mounted on foam core, and packaged inside a clear, cellophane sleeve. Prints larger than 17 x 22 inches are rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Their presentation is perfect for gift-giving and they are ready to frame. Canvas prints are ready to hang on your wall. They are shipped flat and carefully packaged to arrive safely. On all framed dry-mounted canvas prints, add approximately 3-4 inches to image size width and height dimensions for finished frame allowance. Our archival prints are framed using a white museum mat (approximately 3 inches wide), a 1-inch black wood frame, and UV-protected “Conservation Clear” glass. Based in Stillwater, Laura paints landscapes to honor the natural beauty of Minnesota. Growing up camping on the North Shore and in Ely, she considers northern Minnesota her home away from home. A lifelong explorer and outdoor enthusiast, she paints what she loves, believing there are endless places here to celebrate through art. After many years experimenting, Laura developed a style she calls “Textural Impressionism.” She incorporates impasto paint applied by both a pallet knife and paintbrush; layering thick and short strokes of oil paint, she creates a spectrum of emotion. “I believe art is love—the love of somewhere, someone, or something.”
