Trapper’s Daughter Day 5!!!

Day 5! Day 5! Day 5!

Today is the last day of our countdown before we reveal the NEW Trapper’s Daughter
print for 2015!!

We kick off today’s countdown with a truly incredible print from 2013,

“The Trapper’s Daughter Crosses the Height of the Land as Winter Fades From the
Woods & Waters.”

“The Trapper’s Daughter and the Spring Moose” came into the gallery like
a hurricane. We could hardly keep this image on the walls and in the bins
after its release two Earth Days ago. It was popular then, and it continues
to be just as popular today. In fact, in last year’s Trapper’s Daughter
Solstice Bracket, the Spring Moose came in second by just a few votes to
the Long View. It’s clear to see why this print has such a strong a following!!

Next up, the Close Reach…..

Who could forget 2014’s epic release of this beautiful print?? Another highly labor intensive endeavor, the Close Reach is a 13 block print… each block with multiple colors.

My favorite part of this image? The adorable racoon reaching into the water as they sail.

This was a super exciting release, as the Kenspeckles made sure to document the whole printing process to share with us all.

On the left you see the ink table used during the printing of the Close Reach, and on the right are all the blocks paitiently awaiting to fill their duty!

Could the Warrior Printress be any more bad aaaahhhh….. I mean, COOL?!?

Our Trapper’s Daughter Earth Day event is just ONE DAY AWAY!!! Can you believe it??? Just one more day until you are all able to catch your first glimpse of Rick’s beautiful new Trapper’s Daughter print….  Until then, here is a sneak peak.

What can you see?? Is this increasing your anticipation for tomorrow’s release??

There is also word on the street (and in the woods) that Rick Allen himself has written little stories and explanations to accompany each image that hangs on the wall of Siiviis. Be sure to head on over to Canal Park tomorrow, April 25th from 1-4pm to check out this epic display!!

See you there,
The Siiviis Crew
